Ambassador thanks Dutch organizations and authorities for awards to Cameroonian Groups

Her Excellency Mrs. Odette Melono: Cameroonian Ambassdaor to the Kingdom of the Netherlandsin the field of Health care, women rights and community development.

She expressed her thanks while appreciating the twin awards giving by the Catholic Organization for Relief and Development Aid (CORDAID) to the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health board for showing outstanding commitment and leadership with regards to creating an access to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Services for women living with HIV and another award to the Ntankah Village Women Common Initiative group in Bamenda for their elaborate HIV and Aids sensitization efforts in Cameroon.

Apart from CORDAID, the Dordrecht Municipality had just recently recognized the works of Ms. Veronica Kini (Cameroonian Women rights Activist) also from the same group, the Ntankah Village Women Common Initiative group in Bamenda.

H.E Melono is very grateful for all the awards by CORDAID and the Dordrecht Municipality. She hopes that many other organizations in the Netherlands will recognize the works done by many other Cameroonians either here in the Netherlands or back in Cameroon. She is happy that someone somewhere recognizes that someone in Cameroon is doing some positive work.
