Cameroon Embassy Invites the Public to Activities Marking Cameroon’s Reunification Celebrations


flyer thumbnailCameroon’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Her Excellency Mrs. Odette Melono invites the general public to a series of symbolic activities organized by the Embassy of Cameroon in the Netherlands in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Reunification of the Republic of Cameroon.

The activities will take place on the 18th of May 2013 in the city of The Hague (The Netherlands) at the Zuiderpark (Address: Mr P. Droogleever Fortuynweg, The Hague).

The activities are as follows: (See Reunification Activities Flyer)

–         Football Tournament (Involving teams of Cameroonians from Different cities in the Netherlands)

–         Children Activities (Sports and amusement for Cameroonian and non Cameroonian children) e.g outdoor games, quizzes, sport etc

–         Cameroon Cultural and Tourism Exhibitions: (This will involve 4 kiosks representing 4 major cultural and traditional groups as follows: West and North West Regions; Littoral and South West Regions; Adamaoua and North Regions; Centre, South and East regions.

–         Presentation: History of Cameroon by Mr. Michael Chibili

Note:

In relation to the children activities, Parents (Cameroonian or non-Cameroonian) are invited to volunteer to take care of kids during the day’s activities. If you wish to be a volunteer, please contact the Embassy as soon and possible by phone (before the 17th of May, 2013).

The Activities will begin at 10.00am and some will last till 18:00pm.
