The meeting took place at the residence of Ms Madeline M. Biyi at Frans Zieglerstraat 68 in Amsterdam.CAMNED President: Miss Tabue Marcell Magne

Under the moderation of CAMNED’s president Miss Magne Tabue Marcelle, the assembly deliberated on issues involving a drive for an increase in Membership, the status of CAMNED website, the revision of CAMNED Membership dues, a new strategy for a better way forward and CAMNED’s Participation in the upcoming National Day celebrations as well as a collaborative strategy with the Cameroonian embassy in the Hague vis-a-vis Cameroon National (20 May) preparations.

In her welcome speech, president Tabue Marcelle thanked everyone present for coming. She expressed optimism for CAMNED in 2010 while emphasising the need for CAMNED to go to the people. This is better expressed in a strategy of decentralization in which CAMNED intends to hold alternating meetings in different cities.

Rotterdam, was a key city discussed about and earmarked to host the next CAMNED meeting because of its vast population of Cameroonians.

The date for the next CAMNED meeting in Rotterdam will be communicated by CAMNED officials in the coming weeks.
