Embassy will be Closed on Thursday & Friday 13 and 14 May

The Cameroonian Embassy will not open on Thursday 13th & Friday 14th of May 2010 respectively. This is as a result of the fact that the 13th of May is Ascension Day, a Public Holiday observed in the Netherlands. Friday 14th of May falls between two Public Holidays… the 13th and the 15th of May (A saturday).

The Maasstad Hospital in Rotterdam Signs Partnership with Laquintinie Hospital in Douala

The Maastad Hospital in Rotterdam, the Netherlands has signed a Partnership agreement with the Laquintinie Hospital in Douala, Cameroon. The signing ceremony took place late 2009 in the auditorium of the Board of Directors of Maasstad Hospital, situated on the Groene Hilledijk in Rotterdam.

Invitation to Debate on “International development and twinning cities” by Dordrecht-Bamenda Association

The Dordrecht-Bamenda Association in the Netherlands will organise a symposium on Wednesday the 18th of November 2009 to exchange ideas about the ‘industry of development aid’ and international friendship (twinning). The debate will feature topics such as: “Are twinnings only a ‘toy’ of municipalities?” and “Will development aid stop poverty in the world?”  

Cameroonian is New World Record Holder in the Game of Draughts

On Saturday 20 December 2008, history was made in Emmeloord, the Netherlands as the World Record in the game of draughts technically referred to as World Record Draughts Clock Simultaneous was shattered by Jean Marc Ndjofang, of Cameroon creating a New World Record.
