H.E Mrs. Melono Grants Audience to New CAMNED Executive

The reception took place in the guest room at the Cameroonian Embassy in the Hague folFrom L-R: Augustine Tataw (Treasurer), Tabue Marcelle (President), H.E Mrs. Odette Melono (Ambassador), Ako Egbe (Secretary).lowing a succesful election that took place in September 2009.

H.E Melono congratulated the three man executive headed by the new president Miss Tabue Marcelle Magne. She called on them to work hard towards uniting Cameroonians in the Diaspora in the Netherlands which is one of the main objectives of CAMNED. She added that the doors of the Embassy were always open to them. She as well pledged to be ready to give advice when ever called upon to do so.

On her part, the new CAMNED president Miss Tabue Marcelle Magne thanked Ambassador Melono for welcoming them. She then formally intoduced the rest of her team which was made up of the secretary, Mr. Ako Egbe and the treasurer, Mr. Augustine Tataw.

It should be recalled that CAMNED was born following the need for all Cameroonians in the Netherlands to come under a single umbrella association. This was an important goal of the Cameroonian Embassy in the Hague which was then propagated to several leading Cameroonians in the Netherlands.

Shortly afterwards, CAMNED was launched in the city of Rotterdam.
