All applicants for a Passport are from henceforth required to first of all call the Embassy to make an appointment before travelling to the Embassy. To better serve future Passport applicants, the Embassy has reformed its ways of operation to match the existing small staff. Making appointments helps the consular staff better organise and group its work load with the sole goal to better and speedily serve all applicants. (Note: You are required to compile a list of documents as listed below under the required documents for the issuance of a new biometric passport. Download and completely fill in the Passport application form. This alongside all the other documents listed below will form your passport application file. 

Note: The physical presence of every applicant for a passport is very necessary.

All applications or documents related to the application of Passports, Visas, Laissez-passer etc must be deposited between 09:30 Am and 12:00 noon from Mondays to Fridays.

Withdrawal or the collection of Passports Visas,or Laissez-passer can only be done as from 14:30-15:30 pm daily.

Note: Any applications for visas, passport or laissez passer deposited after 12:00 noon will be forwarded, registered and only processed the following day.

Required Documents for the issuance of New Biometric passport 

● A stamped application addressed to the Cameroonian Ambassador to the kingdom of the Netherlands.

● A copy of your birth certificate legalized by the Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon.

● A certified true copy of computerized national identity Card.

● A copy of a valid residence permit.

● Proof of occupation e.g. employment contract/pay slip

● Consular card.

● Photocopies of pages 2, 3, 5 and 6 of the old passport.

● A certificate of loss, no older than three months (in case of loss of the passport), issued

   by the competent Dutch authorities at the place of loss.

● A legalized parental authorization for minors below 21 years of age. Download Parental authorisation form here

● Seven (7) passport size photos. 4 of them measuring 4x4cm and 3 of them measuring 4x5cm. The head should be positioned directly

   facing the camera, without a hat or headscarf. (Note: If you are in possession of a consular card already, then you will be required to

   submit only four (5) Passport-size photographs).

● 150 Euros (to include cost for fiscal stamps and postage charges to and from Cameroon).

Note: You are required to come in person to apply for a Cameroonian passport.

1 RENEWAL OF PASSPORT: (Read information below)

The Cameroonian Embassy, the Hague has from henceforth completely seized to renew the old version of Cameroonian passports. Cameroonians intending to renew their passports are strictly adviced to apply for a brand new biometric passport. Information and requirements for the application of new passports are found above. Feel free to share this information with friends and family.

2 LOSS OF PASSPORT  (The documents listed below are only documents that must be provided alongside the normal documents requested for Passport application under the list of requirements for passport application in green characters above.)
Applicant must submit: 
     - A photocopy of the lost passport, especially, the validity of the entry visa to the Netherlands;

• Attestation of loss issued by the Dutch police duly authenticated (signed) by the services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands;
• The Cameroon National Identity card and a certified True copy of birth Certificate.
• Residence permit in the Netherlands. If not, a letter authenticated by the Dutch authorities stating that you would likely be granted a residence permit.

3 EXTENSION OF PASSPORT

The are new regulations presently in place in relation to the issuance of the New Cameroonian biometric passport. After expiry of passport, all cameroonians will be required to re-apply for another passport booklet (A fresh one). Therefore, there shall be no extension of expired passport booklets as from now onward.
