The two day forum is essentially orientated towards actions and achievements which according to CASA-NET sources, is a “New formula, new concept”. There will also be a roundtable on International business and Projects.

DAVOC 2013 International Forum in Yaoundé is expected to be a real laboratory of actions geared towards the development of the Agricultural Sector of Cameroon. Facilitators of the forum will include: hundreds of Cameroonians in the Diaspora, companies active in Africa, foundations funding projects, the Government of Cameroon, friendly Governments and international organizations.

Twenty holders of socio-economic projects involving Cameroon in the fields of agriculture, health, education, micro credit, entrepreneurship, women and youth have been invited to participate. Due to their initiatives, these young entrepreneurs will meet international organizations, private and public funding organizations with the objective for them to find support in order to implement their field projects in Cameroon.

The Forum will end with a Gala on the evening of August 23 with an important key business, supplemented by Cameroonian music artists.

It should be noted that the 5th edition (2012) in Geneva was a great success with the participation of more than 100 Cameroonian migrants as well as the strong mobilization of the Cameroonian authorities (Minister, DG, senior executives etc) on the subject of “the contribution of the Diaspora to the economic and social innovation in Cameroon”.
