Winners of 1st Edition of “Mama Cameroon” Award 2020


The first edition of “Mama Cameroon” has been launched by the Cameroonian Embassy in the Hague, The Netherlands. Starting from 2020, the embassy has introduced an annual award to appreciate deserved ladies in both the Cameroonian communities in the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, for their exemplary roles, achievements and contributions to the society.

The award ceremony will form part of activities or feature as an item during annual celebrations of the International Women’s Day organised by the Cameroonian Embassy in the Hague.

This year saw the first edition of “Mama Cameroon Award” during a successful Women’s day celebrations in which two exemplary ladies in the Netherlands became the first winners or Awardees. They are:

Mrs. Rose Bene

Mammy Susanna (Alias Mama Sue)
