Cameroon Embassy Diplomatic Reception: Celebrating Cameroon National Day 2025 in The Hague

The Cameroon Embassy in the Netherlands recently organized Unity Week 2025 in commemoration of Cameroon’s National Day. This week-long celebration brought together Cameroonians, Dutch nationals, diplomats, and investors to honour the spirit of unity and cultural exchange between Cameroon and the Netherlands.

The festivities featured a football tournament with 11 competitive teams representing several countries to foster sportsmanship and collaboration. Additionally, the embassy hosted a film festival, creating a platform for Cameroonian and Dutch film producers to showcase their creativity and share cinematic experiences.

One of the most significant highlights of Unity Week 2025 was the Diplomatic Reception in The Hague, hosted by Her Excellency Ambassador Liguemoh Ondoua Madeleine. The prestigious event welcomed international diplomats, Dutch government officials, investors, and Cameroonians residing in the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. This reception served as an opportunity for networking and strengthening diplomatic ties.
