Female Military World Cup: Cameroon Beats Belgium, USA and Germany to Reach Semi-Finals

The Female Military World Cup is hosted in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from 27 June to 09 July 2023. So far the Cameroon Female military football team has beaten Belgium (2-0), the USA (4-2) and Germany on 3rd July (4-0) to reach the tournament’s semi-finals which takes place on Wednesday 5th July 2023. These registered victories and successes have made the Cameroon nation proud.

The Cameroon female team has been magnificent and has shown that they are technically capable. So far their victories over footballing nations like Belgium, USA and Germany is a revelation of a team full of determined and talented players. It must be added that their spirit is high which has prompted the Cameroonian Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands H.E Mrs. Liguemoh Ondoua Madeleine to appeal to all Cameroonians in the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, as well as elsewhere to come en masse to support their team.

H.E Mrs. Liguemoh emphasises that our team needs our psychological support through our presence, as she calls for a stronger turn out by Cameroonians and supporters of Cameroon. The Ambassador added that by being present, we will constitute the 12th player on the field, through our chants, claps, and moral support.

It should be recalled that last year 2022, Cameroon reached the finals and came out 2nd best against France. It is our wish that Cameroon wins this year. For that to happen, the Cameroonian Head of Mission insists that it needs all of us…the support of the Cameroonian community.
