New Ambassador, H.E Mrs. ONDOUA Madeleine Arrives in the Netherlands

H.E Mrs. LIGUEMOH
ONDOUA Madeleine

The new Cameroonian Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Her Excellency Madam LIGUEMOH ONDOUA Madeleine, has arrived in The Netherlands to head the Cameroon Diplomatic Mission.

She was gladly welcome by all embassy staff, as she takes over as the second full-fledge Cameroonian Ambassador, and also the second female Cameroonian ambassador to the Netherlands and Luxembourg. H.E Mrs. LIGUEMOH Madeleine takes over from Her Excellency Mrs. Odette Melono who is currently the OPCW Deputy Director-General.

While the new ambassador is excited to meet and greet members of the Cameroonian community, the embassy for now seriously respects preventive measures introduced by the Dutch authorities in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic, e.g. the banning of public gatherings and other demonstrations. Taking note of these facts, the embassy will not be organising a welcome ceremony or a meet-and-greet event for the Ambassador and the Cameroonian community until further notice.

As developments vis-à-vis the Corona virus pandemic dictate in the coming weeks or months, the entire Cameroonian family in the Netherlands and Luxembourg will be notified of the feasibility of a welcome ceremony or a meet-and-greet with our new “Mother”.

The Cameroonian Embassy in the Hague appreciates the support of the Cameroonian community, and hopes that when the time is right to meet your new Ambassador, you will give her the same attention, the same warmth and the same support that you have never ceased to show to our Diplomatic Mission.

Her Excellency, Mrs. LIGUEMOH ONDOUA Madeleine sends her very warm greetings and to you all, hoping and longing to meet you all very soon.

Please keep visiting and reading our website for News, Updates and Announcements on the activities of the embassy in the coming weeks and months.

Thank you all for your continuous support.
