Embassy Festival 2025, The Hague. H.E Mme Liguemoh Explains (Watch video)


The Embassy of Cameroon, in The Hague, has participated for the third time in the embassy festival on 6th September 2025 in the city of The Hague, The Netherlands. This is an event organized by the Dutch government to allow diplomatic representations to share their culture and have networking sessions. The Embassy Festival is an event that attracts more than 26,000 visitors in a single day. It is an audience made up of all kinds of professions and all social categories.

This year’s event attracted a lot of people which created an opportunity for meeting new people and for networking. According to Cameroonian Ambassador. H. E Mme Liguemoh Ondoua Madelein, it was an opportunity for Cameroon to allow the Dutch to discover what Cameroon and Cameroonians are capable of. She re-iterated that Cameroon is considered Africa in miniature i.e., a whole continent within a single country. Therefore, the embassy was keen to present and exhibit Cameroon through several exciting activities, such as a Fashion show, Cultural music and Cameroonian attires and artefacts which presented an opportunity for other nations. especially the Dutch, to discover Cameroon and to take advantage of the opportunity to exchange with the autonomous port of Douala and with the human community of Douala.
