As part of the measures taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-I9), the Cameroonian Embassy in The Hague informs the public and users that its activity is limited to emergency services and of strict necessity until further notice.

The Embassy will close from March 9th to April 6th, 2020. 

Cameroon Gov’t Closes Air, Sea and Land Borders

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic (Covid-19), Consular services are subject to the following adaptations:

Visa applications: A test of Covid-19 is now required, in addition to the ordinary documents to be provided for anyone wishing to go to Cameroon or in transit through Cameroonian territory.

Visa application files must be sent via DHL, users are requested to make arrangements with DHL for the return of their documents.

Withdrawals of documents already deposited at the Embassy: by appointment.

These requirements will be duly applied except in cases of justified emergency.

The Embassy invites people suffering from fever, cough or any other breathing difficulty not to present themselves to the Embassy whatever the emergency.

It also requests staff and anyone with access to premises to observe the hygiene rules laid down by the WHO in order to prevent and limit contagion.

Visa applications: 09.00 hrs – 12.30 hrs

Withdrawal:           14.30 hrs – 16.00 hrs

A valid visa is required for travel to Cameroon from the Netherlands. A 90 day single/multiple entry visa is available from the Embassy

All applications or documents related to the application of Visas or Laissez-passer etc. must be deposited from 09:00 am and 12:30 am from Monday to Friday.

Withdrawal or the collection of Visas, Laissez-passers and other documents can only be done the next day (one day after depositing application) as from 14:30 -16:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Note: This does not include the collection or withdrawal of newly requested Cameroonian Passports as this takes longer. 

Note: Any applications for visas, passport or laissez passer deposited after 12:30 am will be forwarded, registered and only processed the following day.

During normal visa application, please allow at least 24 hours to consider your visa application.

  • Mention while applying for a single or multiple entry.
  • The first entry in Cameroon has to take place within a period of three (3) months as from the date of issuance of visa.
  • The Presentation of required documents does not guarantee the issuing of a Visa.
