PRESS RELEASE: Training Programme in Water Sciences and Youth Civic Engagement

FOR THE ATTENTION OF THE CAMEROONIAN DIASPORA IN THE NETHERLANDS AND LUXEMBOURG

The Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon to the Netherlands and Luxembourg wishes to inform the Cameroonian diaspora residing in the Netherlands and Luxembourg that a Training Programme in Water Sciences and Youth Civic Engagement will be held in Yaoundé from October to December 2026.

Organized by the Cameroon National Commission for UNESCO, the UNESCO Regional Office for Central Africa, Jeunesse Emergente et Républicaine du Cameroun (JERC) and What Water, with the support of the Ministry of Water resources and Energy, Ministry of Youth affairs and Civic Education, and the Special Fund for Intercommunal Equipment and Intervention (FEICOM), the programme will train 50 young professionals selected from 101 applications, from 14 to 16 October 2026 in Yaoundé.
