International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women Commemorated Under Theme: #NOEXCUSE
On 25 November 2023, Women Diplomats, Permanent Representatives accredited to OPCW met at the OPCW, The Hague to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Among them was the Head of Mission of the Embassy of Cameroon to the Hague and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, H.E Mrs. Liguemoh Ondoua Madeleine, representing Cameroon. The colour of the fight is Orange and this year’s event was commemorated under the theme: #NOEXCUSE.
As a result, the Women Permanent Representatives accredited to OPCW wore orange dresses on November 27, 2023, while attending the OPCW’s annual Conference of the States Parties (CSP28) at The Hague, to symbolise the fight.
